The NYC Teen Author Festival is a gigantic week-long event that takes place in venues all over NYC, featuring panels, readings, signings, and an insane number of goofy YA authors.

2:50-3:45: Strange and Unusual Fandoms

Our creative spotlight for Friday – reverse fan fiction! Yes, in this, authors write a short, short story or vignette (1-2 pages) about a teen fan of something strange and unusual (i.e. not Spider-man or Deadpool, but a fan of Pacey from Dawson’s Creek
or Alice Munro or Ninja Unicorns.)
